The Story
- Chapin Salt Spreader: Designed for professional or contractor ice melt and salt, 100 lb rust-resistant broadcast spreader is weather-resistant, has a blue poly hopper and a rugged, plastic spiked auger breaks up and limits clumps from clogging the gate opening while spreading
- How to Use and Convenience: Adjustable front and side baffles allow for precise control of spread pattern allowing you to change the gate opening based (lever) on your particulates. The Spreader is recommended for large particulates, inconsistent in size: rock salt and ice melt; also handles small and pelletized particulates: salt, ice melt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride
- Comfort and Control: This spreader has an ergonomic, solid linkage T-Shaped Handle with grips and full bar gate lever control, making it easy to use and has a comfortable grip even with gloves, while the rain and snow cover keeps your hopper protected while you are working
- Components: It is supported by stainless steel tube constrution and components, while the 12" wide tread pneumatic tires provide traction when moving over snow and icy ground. Enclosed gear system with grease fitting makes it weather resistant and great for ice melt, halite and smaller particulates
